Annika is a Brooklyn-bred singer, songwriter. She writes in all genres but is most at home in the adult contemporary category with her signature style of emotionally charged, piano-centric songs.

Annika loves being a self-described "late bloomer", discovering her passion for songwriting later in life. She also enjoys self-producing music videos for many of her songs for YouTube, and credits this for thousands of new listeners discovering her music. She is perhaps best known for "Streets of Brooklyn", her musical ode to her hometown. Released on YouTube in 2010, its popularity on YouTube and Facebook led to a growing fanbase, invitations to perform, and soon an album. Annika self-released her 2011 debut EP "No Sleep Till Brooklyn", with two of its tracks receiving radio airplay in the US and UK, "Streets of Brooklyn" and "Fix Me". Her second album, "Affinity" was released in Feb 2013.

Annika enjoys performing acoustic versions of her original songs throughout NJ and NYC, and is grateful for the support of her friends, fans, and fellow musicians.
