I possess a natural gift for communicating and maintaining people's attention and have been blessed with standing out in a crowd. A trip to the grocery store, a mall, the gas station; any where I go to be honest finds me gathering a crowd. When attending motivational seminars the speakers always single me out asking the same question, "What is it, where did you get it and how do I get some?" I am very approachable easily striking up conversations with anyone; recently on a trip to New York, via Amtrak, a Conductor sat down across the isle and joined me in a rousing chorus of 'New York, New York' (this is not an unusual occurrence for me!) In August 2008 I traveled to Los Angeles, CA to participate in the “Best New Talent 2008” competition. I chose to compete in; Stand Up Comedian, Comedic Actress, Voice Over Talent and Commercial. I wrote my material for each category; and received high praise from various agents regarding my scripts originality. I learned three valuable and important lessons during this adventure in LA; # 1: I must diligently work toward learning and honing my skills; # 2: I am finally traveling a career path I have desired since childhood; # 3 never ride the subway in LA alone!
