From her childhood, Elvire remembers her family would always laugh at how "dramatic" she was. After participating in local plays as a child, and even joining the theatre group of the Boys and Girls Club in high school, Elvire went into her freshmen year of college as a Theatre Major at Barry University in Miami Florida. Like many of us, she later found herself conforming and wanting to fulfill and meet the expectations of what others thought she should do, and decided to be more "practical." After graduating with a degree in Merchandising from Virginia Commonwealth University, and spending a year working in her field, Elvire just couldn't do it anymore, and decided that "practical," just wasn't her thing. From that moment Elvire decided to go for her dreams, resigned from her position and has never looked back. Today Elvire enjoys her life as a pursuing actress, and will stop at nothing. "In life you have to either give one-hundred percent or zero percent. You can't give half of yourself in anything and expect to get something worthwhile in return. How can you truly give yourself to something that you don't love? I am choosing, I have made a decision to give one-hundred percent of everything I have to be an actress, and I will succeed. I will be many things in life; an actress is one of them."
